David Kinsfather

Obituary of David Kinsfather

David (Dave) Kinsfather (age 75) of Blaine, entered into rest on April 27, 2022, in Bellingham, WA surrounded by all of his girls. He was born on October 4, 1946, in Yakima, Washington to Leo Adam and Mary Jane (Dickens) Kinsfather. Dave attended and graduated from West Valley High School in Yakima, WA in 1964. On January 9, 1965, he married the love of his life, Beverly McCall in Yakima and started their family. During his working career, Dave worked in the Beverage Industry for Anheuser-Busch acting in many different roles and later retiring from the Boeing Company. Dave had many hobbies and interests, but most of all, he loved to fish, hunt and captain his boat for crabbing season. However, his family always came first and he enjoyed making many fond memories with all of his grandchildren. It was a special seat on the riding mower, sitting very still while receiving a makeover or being the perfect patient and getting covered in band-aids. Later in life, he along with his wife volunteered as a firefighter and with their local search and rescue team. This included fighting forest fires in the summer and incorporating mountain expeditions using snowmobiles as a search and rescue vehicle in the winter. Dave enjoyed his retirement and the ability to snowbird in Arizona for part of the year. He made many good friends in both locations. Out of all his lifelong achievements, he will be most remembered for always being the best father not only to his daughters but to his son-in-laws. He was a loving husband, the proudest grandpa, loyal and caring to everyone he met. Dave is survived by the love of his life, Beverly (Peanut) of Blaine, WA; three daughters, Michelle (Darien) Anderson of Lake Stevens, WA, Miranda (Tim) Jennings of Bellevue, WA, Melanie (Dawnelle) Kinsfather of Marysville, WA; sister, Dot Coffer (nieces Brooke and Carly) of Spokane, WA; brother, Tom Hardman (Wanda and niece Kim) of Kettle Falls, WA; four grandchildren, Morgan (Mike), Kelsey (Oleg), Jordan and Mckenna. He is preceded in death by both of his parents and one brother, Jack Kinsfather (niece Carrie and nephews Jason and Derek). A celebration of life has been scheduled for June 26th from Noon to 4:00 pm at The Bravern located at 688 110th Ave Ne (4th floor), Bellevue, WA 98004.
