In Loving Memory of our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother Patricia May (Rossel) Reitan. Patricia entered into rest on December 2, 2021, in Bellingham, WA at the age of 78. She was born on February 4, 1943, in San Diego, California to Lauris and Alice (Nicholson) Rossel. Patricia is survived by her husband of 45 years, Melvin (Mike) Reitan; sister, Lorrie Rossel; children, Melissa Reed, Michael Reitan, Kimberli, Scott, Jared, and Marc Pacheco; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and two fur babies, Noah and Sophia. Memorial services are to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, make donations to Noah Center in Stanwood, WA. Please sign the Book of Memories, Light a Candle and leave your condolences for the family at www.JernsFH.com She Is Gone You can shed tears that she is gone Or you can smile because she has lived You can close your eyes and pray that she will come back Or you can open your eyes and see all that she has left Your heart can be empty because you can’t see her Or you can be full of the love that you shared You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday You can remember her and only that she is gone Or you can cherish her memory and let it live on You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back Or you can do what she would want: smile, open your eyes, love, and go on.
