Obituary of Aria & John Pendergraft

John L. Pendergraft August 1st, 1978 - April 15th, 2021 Aria Rene Pendergraft February 13th, 2014 On April 15th the world sadly lost a compassionate and well-loved man, John Pendergraft, age 42, and his beloved daughter Aria Renee Pendergraft. John was born in Killeen, Texas, on August 1st, 1978, to John and Linda Pendergraft, while his father Jon was stationed at Fort Hood Military Base. John moved to Everett at 4 months old, where he continued to live in several other Snohomish County cities and called them home. John graduated from Snohomish County Christian School in 1997. Twenty-four years later he was still friends with many of his classmates. They all enjoyed getting together for dinner or a bar-be-que. He was a trusted and loved employee for Active Engineering for over 20 years. He started working there when he was 17 years old in the warehouse and digging ditches and moved up to an electrician. He loved his job, his bosses, and his co-workers. Many left the same about John as well. John collected friends wherever he went due to his sense of humor and easy-going personality. John had many hobbies and interests: scuba diving, hunting, crabbing, planting gardens, helping friends and collecting and raising exotic animals. Although John’s favorite activity was being with his daughter Aria, age 7. He loved being a father, and Aria was his greatest treasure and his pride and joy. They would hunt, fish, feed their animals, make sausage, bake cookies or cupcakes, collect the eggs, and incubate many also. John leaves behind his Parents, Jon and Linda Pendergraft; Sister, Angela (Mark) Mantooth; Nephew, Donevan Mantooth and his fiancé Rebecca McCown Kujath along with numerous cousins and friends. Aria was born in Edmonds WA. to John and Christina Pendergraft. She attended College Place Elementary in Edmonds, WA and was in the first grade. She loved all things French, loved hunting, fishing, gathering eggs, playing with the animals, cooking, baking cupcakes, helping friends and playing dress up. She had currently developed a new love for make-up. She loved her family as much or more than they love her. Aria was a complete pleasure to be around, full of personality, love and was very easy going. Aria leaves behind her Mother, Christina McGee, Grandparents, Jon and Linda Pendergraft; Aunt, Angela Mantooth; Uncle Mark Mantooth; cousin, Donevan Mantooth; Grandparents, Kevin and Cindy McGee; Uncle Joe and Aunt Morrigan MeGee; Uncle Daniel and Aunt Malinda MeGee and cousins, Gabriel and Brier Rose.
