I am so sorry to hear of Terry's passing! I have many great memories of him playing his guitar and singing, laughing at stupid jokes, and eating those horrible Pringles, Cheddar cheese flavored. Yuck! He was a good friend and always had a way to make me laugh! Great memories! Major and Marlea, I am so sorry for your loss! And to the rest of the family, also. May God be with you all at this time and give you peace!

I met Terry when I was a young teen. He was a few years older. He always had a caring, sensitive nature and a way of making you feel special.
I loved to listen to him play guitar and sing. His music had a way of evoking so much emotion and I never wanted it to end.
We lost touch over the years, but his sister, Marlea and I have continued to be good friends.
I count the time I spent with Terry among some of my favorite memories. It hurt to hear he was gone.

We have been Terry's neighbor for the last five years. He was such a sweet, caring soul and always reminded me of Mr. Edwards from Little House on the Prairie. He was always looking out for us and loved watching our kids play make-believe. Our youngest daughter called him her Terbear and would always get excited to see him and run to hug him and say hello. He told me many times he loved all our girls but she always made his day when he would see her. He was always willing to help his neighbors if they needed a hand. One of our elderly neighbors is too week to take her trash can to the street and Terry would take it out and bring it back for her every week. Another neighbor doesn't have a car so Terry would take them to the food bank each week. He was always helping our landlord and who he considered his best friend Denny. I will miss coming in the park and seeing the two of them tinkering on something together. He always had a kind word to say about everyone. I will miss his encouragement and friendly conversations.
