Olga was bornin Rzychechiv, Ukraine on June 20th, 1930 to Alyosha and Anna Zandarosnia. She was on of eight children. Olga left her home at the age of eleven to travel with her aunt. They traveled to Poland, at which point Olga lost touch with her aunt, leaving her to look out for herself. She travelled with Cossacks to Italy, followed by travels to Austria and Germany where she worked. Though she had a chapter of finding ways to survive, she sailed to America and landed at New York where she embarked on an exciting new journey. After living a short while in New Jersey and creating bonds that remained in her heart forever, she then moved to Washington where she started her new life with her husband, Cecil H. Rice in Seattle. They made their way to Longbranch, Washington where they called home and raised four children; Carol, Diana, Steven and Karen. Grandchildren, Kelly and Tasha Nims, Hannah Rants, Jason Brewer, Micah Brewer, Stormy Brewer, Jessica Bonin, Joe Bonin, Lindsey Rice, Nolan Rice, Miles Westergren, Matthew Burgess. Olga is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Rice, husband Burliegh Brown, her children, Carol Ann Brewer and Diana Lynn Rice-Bonin. Olga has many stories of surviving the war and experiences that made her the strong woman that she was. Enduring hardships never hindered her from believing God was with her every moment. She saw the positive in even the most difficult times. She was selfless, kind and full of wisdom. We will forever be blessed to have had her in our lives.
