On Friday, April 9th, 2021, Wilfredo Antigua, loving husband, father, brother and grandfather passed away at age 73 in Bellingham, Washington. Wilfredo was born on May 5th, 1947 in Albuera Leyte, Philippines to Dolores Jabillo and Emiliano Antigua. He married Wenceslina Binongo on June 25th, 1967 and together they raised their children. During his time in the Philippines, he worked as a fisherman and later, a skipper. Wilfredo immigrated to the United States from the Philippines in 2000. “Willy” had a passion for music, he loved listening to Elvis Presley and Kenny Rogers. He was known for his robust laugh, his passionate personality, and never-ending love for the boxer, Manny Pacquiao. Wilfredo was preceded in death by his mother and father, his brother Anecito and sister Enrica Nepomuceno. He is survived by his wife Wenceslina, his six children: Joel (Lourdes), Jocelyn (Clint Cadman), Wilwen (Marietta), Jean, Johnyfer (Chitralekha) and Frellie, his siblings: Magdalena Garcia, Maria Linda Sunogan, Fe Perpiñan, Marietta Palagbas, Beatriz Naguita, his grandchildren: Jomar Viador, Meagan (Seth) Heurion, Molly (Tobias) Koker-Nye, Jelou, Clem, Justine, Kent, Kristine Jhane, Chzylde Abogadie, and Em-Em, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. A celebration of life for close family and friends has been planned at Jerns Funeral Home on Friday, April 16, 2021.
